COSS® Program Recognitions

Determining the quality of a training program shouldn't be a guessing game. That is why COSS has sought the stamp of approval from third party organizations that help customers sort out the best from the rest. COSS has received national recognition from the following institutions:

American Council for Construction Education American Council for Construction Education

The American Council for Construction Education (ACCE) has also given formal recognition to the COSS program. ACCE is the leading global advocate of quality construction education for colleges, universities and technical/trade schools.

American Association of Safety Councils American Association of Safety Councils

The American Association of Safety Councils (AASC) has reviewed the COSS materials, instructional methods, policies and procedures and officially endorses the program. AASC is an international association of safety councils.

Higher Education

COSS is a required semester-long course for students enrolled in the Construction Management Degree program at LSU and it is now being accepted as a 3-hour elective towards the Associate of Applied Science in Occupational Safety & Health and the Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety & Health through Columbia Southern University (CSU)

In additon, COSM qualifies for 3 credit hours towards the BOS 3651 - Total Environmental, Health, & Safety Management CSU course , which qualifies as an elective towards the Associate of Applied Science in Occupational Safety & Health and the Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety & Health.
